What is Hydrophobic Redispersible Polymer Powder?
Hydrophobic Redispersible Polymer Powder (HRPP) is a free-flowing, white powder obtained by spray-drying an aqueous polymer dispersion (latex) that has been modified with hydrophobic monomers or additives. Upon contact with water, the powder redisperses into a fine polymer emulsion, which provides a continuous hydrophobic polymer matrix within cementitious or gypsum-based materials.
